Summer and holidays are in full swing and every one of us longs for beautiful bronzed skin. Those with naturally strong pigment gain a lovely bronze colour after a few hours in the sun, while others have to wait several days for the glow they wish for. As we all know, before spending time in the sun it is good to take beta-carotene in your diet for a healthier, easier tan. Each of us is given a different amount of pigment in our skin. There are, however, tan activators that support your own pigment and a healthy tan, and on top of that bring you the bronze glow you long for.
URUCUM Tan Activator
One of the top oils in Slovakia is the URUCUM tan activator. Many of us have already had the chance to try it, and it helped them to a lovelier, deeper and easier tan. Where does its secret lie? This natural suntan oil contains urucum powder. It was used by the indigenous peoples of the Amazon basin long before Europeans came to that land. To this day the local people use urucum powder to colour food, skin and even hair. What interests us, though, is its influence on activating a tan. Its secret lies in how strongly it supports the skin's pigmentation. It is rich in beta-carotene. It stimulates the production of melanin and prepares the skin for sunbathing. Thanks to its high beta-carotene content /it contains 100 times more than carrot oil/, it gives the skin a natural, golden, easy and long-lasting tan. Alongside beta-carotene it also contains zinc, magnesium, selenium and copper.
A tan activator made in Slovakia

The URUCUM tan activator is traditionally valued for helping the skin cope with UVA, the ultraviolet radiation that reaches it. It has an incredible antioxidant effect, which helps guard against premature ageing of the skin. That is exactly why our limited-edition novelty URUCUM - Sen mora also contains Astaxanthin, which is obtained from microscopic algae and is a carotenoid. It is a very strong antioxidant and protects our skin from free radicals. It is also enriched with another alga, Dunaliella salina, high in antioxidants and an inexhaustible reservoir of beta-carotene. Clay and water from the Dead Sea help protect the skin from ageing and support its ability to renew itself. It is very rich in beta-carotene (provitamin A) and antioxidants, thanks to which it beautifully smooths and softens the skin, with natural beta-carotene from the alga Dunaliella salina. This vitamin brings protection from within and prepares the skin for the sun's rays, so the skin tans more easily and the tan lasts longer. A wonderful combination for sunbathing - will you try it too?
OREŠÁK Tan Activator
The second best-selling tan activator is the OREŠÁK tan activator. For many years walnut oil has been known as an excellent tan activator, and it also gives the skin a beautiful golden-brown pigmentation. It has been a favourite in Croatia for years, yet you do not have to travel long distances - you can gain a lovely tan at home in your own garden. Walnut oil not only helps you gain a beautiful golden-brown tan, it is also traditionally appreciated for helping the skin feel calmer and less irritated in the sun. This oil is intended for an intensive and quick tan, and thanks to the combination of olive and coconut oil it revitalises the skin and supports the tanning process. The cherry on top is that this tan activator is enriched with an extract of Golden algae.

An extract of the alga Laminaria ochroleuca (called "golden algae"). It calms skin inflammation caused by external factors (air pollution, UV radiation). It has anti-wrinkle and firming activity. It restores the skin's proper hydration, which lasts around 8 hours. Thanks to its high concentration of phosphatidylcholine it strengthens the lipid barrier, which helps prevent the skin from becoming dehydrated and oversensitive. Tan activators can be wonderful companions on the way to the tanned skin you long for, though we should not forget the principles of sensible sunbathing and drinking enough water - and then we can enjoy that bronze glow. Short breaks while sunbathing are the path to healthy skin and a longer-lasting tan. At the same time, they lower the chance of burnt skin, which nobody longs for. Which one will be yours?
